The most direct help

Donate

We fundraise through Zeffy, which passes one hundred percent of your donation to us with no platform fee taken out. A one time gift buys medication and diagnostics this week. A monthly gift lets us commit to an animal's care before we know what it will cost, which is what hospice work actually requires.

There are three ways to give, depending on what you would like your money to do.

  • Support a resident. Food, medication, diagnostics and comfort care for an animal living here now
  • Build the catios. The enclosure that lets us start saying yes to cats
  • Give in loving memory. A gift in the name of a companion you have lost

Practical and always needed

Send supplies

Senior and prescription diets, orthopaedic and heated beds, incontinence pads, non slip runners for old legs on hard floors, harnesses and slings, cleaning supplies and medical consumables. Building materials, fencing and lumber help just as much right now.

Hands on the property

Volunteer

Animal care, dog walking, cleaning, laundry, gardening, admin and grant research, photography and event help. If you have a trade we would especially love to hear from you, because carpentry, fencing, electrical and excavation move this build forward faster than almost anything else.

Businesses and community groups

Sponsor or partner

Sponsor a resident's care, underwrite a build project such as the catio, donate materials or services, or run a fundraiser with your team. We are happy to build something that works for your business and genuinely helps the animals.

Costs nothing, matters enormously

Share a story

Most of the people who have supported this sanctuary found it because somebody they trusted shared a post about a dog they had never met. If you know someone who would want to know this place exists, whether they are a donor, a vet, a shelter worker or a person facing a hard decision about their own animal, send them here.

Use #savebearsbuddies and #bearsbuddies so we can find you and say thank you properly.
